PET AlOx Film enters the shortlist when an opaque pack needs a clear window. But a low oxygen transmission rate does not establish protection against light.
Cailong, an AlOx Film Supplier, lists PET-AlOx-020 as transparent AlOx on a BOPET substrate. That construction addresses gas transmission, not every cause of discoloration.
What changes when the window opens?
Keep the existing opaque pack as a control. Compare filled packs under the intended display lighting and storage duration. Separate light exposure from oxygen entry before attributing a color change to the film.
PET AlOx Film in a protected window
A candidate laminate can combine the barrier web with a sealant and opaque printed areas. Validate the exposed window separately; ink coverage must not be assumed to equal the old foil layer.
For a clear-pack trial, give Cailong the product's light sensitivity, proposed window area, current opaque structure and display conditions. Keep transparency only where the contents tolerate it.
